The Training Company was established during the summer of 2016 by an eager and spirited personal trainer, Holly Nelson.  Holly has always been passionate about fitness and became a Personal Trainer in 2008.  She worked for several large corporate gyms but never felt comfortable in an environment that was more worried about numbers, dollar signs and ATS sheets than they were worried about the client.  In 2012, she took a huge leap of faith, left the corporate world and was determined to make it work on her own.  She trained out of her house, your house, independent gyms and PT studios.  But something still didn't feel right, she often didn't feel welcome and frowned upon as she ran her group classes and trained her one on one clients.  Her clients urged her for years telling her, "WE need a home."  They had the faith she just needed the courage.  Finally at the beginning of 2016 she was given an ultimatum from the gym she was working at not as an employee but a contract trainer.  They informed her she must become an employee and share her clients and profits or part ways.  It became clear then, it was time.    With faith and prayer backing her up she opened The Training Company during the summer of 2016.  She now has a team of trainers that she is bound and determined to never let them or their clients experience what she went thru but to experience a place they can call "home" as well.
